Our former KDC-student Tex Ruskamp is happy to share that his master’s thesis, “Prediction of Traffic Take-Off Times at Out-Stations: A Case Study at Schiphol Airport,” has been published in the IEEE Open Journal of Intelligent Transportation Systems!
The research presents an LSTM architecture augmented with multi-head attention to model temporal dependencies and dynamic patterns in flight data, achieving improved prediction accuracy for aircraft departure times.
