The new research agenda has been approved by the KDC Board, and is now available on the KDC website!
Like previous year, the KDC research has been expanded to a five year program, covering the 2022 – 2026 period. The program revolves around five themes:
- Safe Airspace and Airport Navigation
- Environmental Sustainability
- Airline and Airport Operational Efficiency
- Capacity Management
- Airspace Redesign & Innovation
Also this year some subjects in the KDC agenda have connections with the airspace redesign program, a program that is aimed at modernization of the Dutch airspace structure, supported by technological innovation.
With this agenda the KDC Board gives direction to the KDC program for the next five years, supporting the modernization of the airspace, maturing new technologies for deployment and supporting the transition to a sustainable future for Schiphol airport.
